My name is Justine Bellamy. I am a native of Longs, Horry County SC. I came from an era of a country girl who sat on the porch, under the willow trees of my grandmother's yard, and in the kitchen to do and get her hair done. My first salon was opened in my neighborhoo

My name is Justine Bellamy. I am a native of Longs, Horry County SC. I came from an era of a country girl who sat on the porch, under the willow trees of my grandmother's yard, and in the kitchen to do and get her hair done. My first salon was opened in my neighborhood and I later turned my garage into a salon to be home more as a parent. I love God who is the first in my life. He's my all and all.
I began my career in the haircare industry SC in 1993 at Chris Logan Career College in Myrtle Beach, SC in 1994. My passion was to braid and understand my soft natural curly hair and why I could not use too much heat or chemicals.
I first received my cosmetology license in my home state of South Carolina in April 1995 and my Cosmetology Instructor's license in 2000.

My master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashford University has had an impact on my success. I am a certified Career and Technology Educator (CATE) in the State of SC licensed to teach cosmetology and natural hair care and braiding.
I am honored to have been part of the team organizing and teaching the first Natural Haircare class at Brunswick Community College (BCC)in Bolivia, NC. Thank you for the opportunity. currently, I am employed with Horry County School District. I teach Natural Hair Braiding at Conway High School. So grateful to be able to teach a subject I love teaching.
